No one wants to write something that others think is bad. Maybe you’re not sure what the correct convention is for grammar and don’t want to look stupid. And who feels like reading hundreds of opinions from Google to decide whether the comma should go there or not?
Or maybe you know your book needs just a little something to give it impact, but you’re not sure what. Even with feedback that says something needs to be revised, you’re simply too close to it to revise any further.
Getting that book out there can feel so far away. Even if you do know you need a book editor, you may not know how to hire a book editor. Or even how to find a book editor. Or what a good book editor does.
That’s where I come in. I provide copyediting, developmental editing, and book doctor services. I work with writers and publishers to improve structure, book content, and grammar.
